The products sold byThe Painted Parrot are most commonly used with parrot species. It should be noted that no claims whatsoever will be entered into for destruction of toys and accessories or damage caused by birds chewing the coating of cages or play stands. It is the nature of the parrots to chew and as a result damage to such products may occur outside of the control of The Painted Parrot! Toys purchased here WILL NOT last forever, toys will be destroyed by your parrot - and your parrot will enjoy doing it! That is the purpose of toys, to be chewed! It is the responsibility of the customer to select toys that are safe for their birds
The safety of your parrot is important! Please choose toys appropriate to the size of your bird, contact me if you have any questions.
As a guide, here are some suggestions for selecting safe toys for your bird:
1.Always choose the right size toy for your bird.
I have tried to categorize the toy items so that it is easy to select the correct one, but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
2.All loose threads should be cut regularly to avoid toes/feet getting caught.
3.Check toys regularly for damage, especially bell clappers. Bells are not safe for all birds. Some birds can be rough on toys and can pull out clappers. Please keep this in mind when selecting for your parrot - consider the "indestructibells" if this is the case.
4. Please supervise your parrot at all times when playing with toys!!
